Spoke worked with Anchor on their 125th Anniversary of Anchor Butter, to raise awareness of the brand and its 125 year heritage and increase unit sales.
The campaign celebrated the milestone with an on pack promotion running on 12 million packs of butter. Every day for 125 days, Anchor gave away 125 prizes; birthday memorabilia such as a cake stand and a vintage toy van, especially designed for the occasion. On the 125th day, each entry was given the chance to win a share of the £125,000 cash prize.
Consumers were required to enter the unique code from their promotional packs via Facebook or text, to be automatically entered into the daily draw.
Spoke helped to deliver on Anchor’s objectives, holding the database of 12 million codes to verify each entry and selecting over 15,000 winners over the competition period, across SMS and Facebook. Throughout the campaign, the level of engagement with the Anchor Facebook page increased dramatically, with delighted customers interacting with Anchor via the page.
